Biography
Ari Kurk graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto. He obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1992 and soon thereafter completed the CICA In-Depth tax courses. He has practiced exclusively in Canadian taxation services since 1994 and has concentrated in real estate and high net worth issues with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for ten years. Ari has presented at breakfast seminars for chief executive officers, held training courses for chartered professional accountants and spoken of Canadian tax matters at an international convention for professional firms. He is now the principal in his own firm specializing in Canadian taxation for real estate, high net worth and owner-managed clients.
Practice
Ari's practice concentrates on the tax and business needs of small and mid-market private enterprises. Unlike most professional firms where inexperienced junior staff are assigned to service clients, Ari personally looks after all his clients. This allows him to understand his clients' needs and issues so he can provide them with tailored and specific solutions.
